Catching your differential cover on rocks or other obstacles is a common vulnerability when crawling off-road. The pressure from these impacts can result in the cover peeling back allowing oil to leak. With our Jeep JL & JT Rear Differential Skid Plate, you can prevent these costly damages while avoiding getting hung-up on pesky rocks and other protruding obstacles. It attaches to eight mounting locations for extreme rigidity and durability, so it won’t come loose or rattle when on rough terrain. The integrated aluminum logo plate is paintable, so you can customize it to match your other accessories. The skid plate is made from heavy-duty 5mm plate steel, and is finished in a resilient micro-texture black powder coat. The skid is fully bolt-on for a quick and easy install process.

* Please Note: This Jeep skid plate will not work with aftermarket differential covers.

** Please Note: This skid plate is only compatible with Dana 44 rear axles, and it will not fit models equipped with Dana 35 rear axles.
